US Equities Edge Higher at Midday as Tech Leads

Stocks trade above the opening range while the dollar and yields tick up. Energy and real estate lag the sector board.

The Nasdaq 100 is +1.41% at 29,685.95, also took out the prior-day high and stayed above the prior-day low. The Dow is +0.03% at 52,377.21, stayed below the prior-day high but took out the prior-day low. The Russell 2000 is +1.07% at 2,816.20, took out the prior-day high and stayed above the prior-day low. All indices are above the opening range or equivalent, with the Dow inside the opening range. VIX is βˆ’5.13% at 17.56.
